Park

Mowing & Trash:  The park and entrance is mowed and edged every other week (during the growing season). Usually, it is on Monday. From time to time it falls on another day due to weather or holidays. Unfortunately, large areas of the park have Bahia grass. Many refer to it as cattle, pasture or field grass. Farmers often prefer it because of its rapid growth affording cattle and other farm animals an abundant grazing source. In fact, you may have noticed the tall seed stalks are back within a week after mowing. In addition to mowing, the crew also conducts a general lose trash pick-up and empties the trash receptacles.

Weed & Feed:  We have taken out a contract for weed control and fertilization of the park. Treatment will be applied 6 times per year. The first treatment was completed on 8/24/18.

Fire Ants:  We currently have a contract for fire ant control. It’s treated quarterly. However, the company will retreat at no additional cost should fire ant mounds return between treatments. Should you see fire ants returning between treatments please let u know and we can follow-up.
